Garage Parking System – Method 2

Method 0 is good, Method 1 is better, but Method 2 is out of sight!!

Method 2 uses the rotational action of the overhead door torsion bar to wind up and unwind a line which is routed through the attic and comes down out of the attic at the location of the tennis balls. This is both easier and more difficult to accomplish compared to Method 1. Easier because there is no complex calculation to determine the attachment location of the line on the top of the garage door, but harder because the line must be routed into, across and down out of the attic, which can lead to some difficulties. But you’re up to the challenge, so go for it!
